phillies spring training is coming quick the pitchers and catchers go februrary 13th and the position players go februrary 18th. Spring training takes place in clear water florida, where the players utilize there time getting back in shape and preparing for the new season to start. they train by working out, practicing in there regular positions and they also play games against other teams in the MLB. In phillies spring training many fans take a trip to florida to see them play and practice and maybe get a chance to get one of there autographs and some pictures with a players, this also gives the phillies manager charlie manual some time to prepare for the 2011 season and opening day on april 2nd.
